How to not get kicked out of an urban?

Today we got some icerink snow....not a lot because the dude didn't even put the fucking blade down. Anyways we went to my school to hit the DFDFD. We almost had it set up and a dude in a BMW come by and says this is school property and to leave. He said if we didn't leave he would call the cops and the security camera got our license plate. We were pretty bummed and we left. Another guy told us we can't do any of this skateboarding here......wtf??????? Anywaays...how should we hit this urban without generators? Oh BTW it was like 4:00pm when we hit it. Maybe next time we could go on a sunday night around sunset and turn the car lights on right when we're about to drop in.
 
doesn't work, the cops will slam you for trespassing faster than you can say insubordination. Since it's a school, they should have breaks sometime. hit up the rail on or as close to the middle of a break as you can. was the guy in the beamer affiliated with the school? whoever approaches you, be as polite as you can be to them, and assure them that you will start breaking stuff down and leave. most people aren't complete dicks and won't stand around for you to actually leave the property. Let them power trip if they're going to power trip, it will only let them be more confident that they made you leave. when they are gone, stomp the rail and peace. good luck
 
We would have lied to him...... he didn't watch us put it away, but this school has like a million cameras. He would have gotten my friend in trouble because he had his license plate and my friend said we had to leave.
 
pretty sure they cant get you for trespassing since its prolly a public school which i spublic property but the could get you for vandalizm. and next time try covering up your plates right b4 you pull into the parking lot
 
Any place where someone could sue for liability can be considered private property. With handrails trespassing private property and liability go hand in hand. whoever is kicking you out knows you're not trying to break in, they're just looking out for the property legally and dont want to get sued when you fall and bust your tooth hole on a donkey dick.
i agree with covering up your liscense plate though, just dont forget to uncover it
 
don't cover your license plate, it's too shady. as stupid as it sounds, the defense that's always kept me out of trouble when hitting urbans is "i didn't know we couldn't do that."

the best tips i can give you is to park somewhere a out of view of the feature. leave your skis and shit in the car and take only shovels to the rail while setting it up (this way, to someone far away it looks like you're just shoveling the stairs or whatever). try to limit the amount of time that you're just chilling next to the rail or whatever. if you're going to be near the feature, you might as well be hitting it.

if you do get busted, be really nice to the person, tell them what you're doing. if they tell you to leave, do it no questions asked, you're the one who's doing something you're not supposed to be doing. you can always come back later.
 
Naw but the school is gay and have people always driving through. The morning would be great but the icerink gives us snow at 3pm usually. Idk maybe a sunset session on a sunday night.
 
or better yet tell them you had to hit the rail to get the map to get to chads gap from the bottom of alta. cant go wrong with that
 
Also if you're going back to same place and covering the plates. You probably shouldn't take the same car. You never know how high-tech the school is they could compare cars from the first time.

Just play dumb it usually gets you out of things pretty easily. Never loose your cool and do something you regret.
 
weekends with no events happening usually works for schools, especially in the summer. the best luck i've had with schools is late night, though.
 
i know what rail your talking about and i drove up from snowtrails on christmas eve to hit and we still got kicked out but i will we get it sooner or later
 
yea man that dfdfd is almost always a bust, just gotta look around for other rails to slide thats more low key, esp since ur tricking snow in. just take a drive around on a rainy day lookin for em. thats half the fun, if it was easy everyone would do it.
 
Saturday night and Sunday night is the most appropriate time to hit it because there are no teachers or janitors... You don't even need generators, just bring some construction lights and an extension cord... And a car or two for head lights, try and make setup as quick as possible... Don't do it if there is a volleyball game or cheerleading practice, make sure there is no one at school... And then give 'er.
 
Wait for winter, natural snow cuts your set up time in half and makes everything easier. If its in a location that never gets snow, then Sunday early or late is usually your best bet as stated above. Check school events schedules.

All of these suggestions are good. I have one more, although it would mean waiting a while. Being new to urban, I've found that the 2 BEST DAYS of the year to go hit urban are Christman Eve and Christmas Day. No one is fucking anywhere on those days. Do it then in the morning/late afternoon if none of these other tips lets you get it sooner. Good luck man, + karma if you grease it.
 
I'm not sure but I think as long as it is a publically funded building you have every right to be there as long as your arent damaging anything (but grinding on the rail could prob be seen as damaging them) . I used to climb the outside of buildings and shit when I was in college and I would just tell the campus security who were actually real cops at my school that its my right to be there, theres no signs that say "no climbing", and that I wasn't going to damage anything (gutters, windows, etc).

Or you could just get Big Black from Rob & Big, he knows how to handle annoying security guards.
 
I won't be hitting it unless I suddenly get amazing at snowboarding. Some of my friends are going to hit it though. Possibly sunday night. I'll keep you posted though.
 
Say you have a terminal illness and the make a wish foundation payed for you to hit the rail as your last wish.
 
yea dude me and my friends used to go skate on holidays like easter and thanksgiving and the places were DEAD. Any holiday is a really good day for urbaning. Also sounds stupid but sometimes it works to lie and tell them you're filming for a ski movie or some other film project. Me and my friends used to do that when we were rollerblading, doesnt really work on cops, but on janitors other school staff and security will buy it sometimes as long as you approach them real confidently and friendly
 
High School graduation/sporting events always have a lot of police officers at them.

I just got back from my brothers graduation and there was a shitload of cops directing traffic.
