how do you do a misty 5 does it look like a lincoln 180 i cant figure it out? respond and also if you can a vid link|?

Heres what you gotta do. pretend you're gonna throw a frontflip, and put your right shoulder down by your left knee. keep doing them and they will get steezier and steezier. btw search it im sure theres plenty of threads on this.

all you have to do is pretend your a ninja. you put your sword away into your belt loop with the opposite hand, if you do that and follow it through with your shoulders, it will spin you correctly

Start your rotation like a frontflip, but set it like a cartwheel. Look uphill as you start to finish the flip, and stomp it.

a misty 5 is super hard to land becasue u tend to land leaning way to far forward casuing you to hit your tips on the landing and then crash. so basically make sure you learn it into powder

Basically as you come up the lip of the jump: pop, and throw the left shoulder across toward your right hip if spinning right and the opposite if you're spinning left. remember to tuck. untuck when you see the landing.

The first time I ever did it was on accident because I was trying to do an extremely corked 5 but instead I did a misty 5 and I'm like well that was sick so I'll do it a couple of more times and I stomped them all. Anyways this is how you do it... Come into the jump with a wide stance, pop at the lip and at the same time throw your body forward and your right arm to your left hip and your head should be looking up, spot your landing and stomp it!

Set it like a frontflip and move your upperbody toward your left foot (if you spin normal) Just follow through on the rotation and you should complete your flip.

I set a sideflip, but I throw the rotation forward. This makes me do my mistys on the unnatural side. that's how I learned this rotation when I was really young, on tramps. Works really well for me, turn into a 7 easily. But I'm wack. learn the front flip dropping your right shouler instead, way more logicall. I'm trying to learn it this way, so I can do mistys both sides. works well too

no i got it now. a misty is a frontflip 180 basically. so a front 5 would be a misty 9. there are 360 degrees of rotation is the flip part. well kinda thats why you cant have a misty 3 or 180. cause then youd have a half flip or just a front flip

The 360 degrees does not come from the flip, the flip is just the misty part and means that you go inverted, thats all. You're right that there's no such thing as a misty 1 or 3, that would be a front 1, or front 3.
