How to make sequence

i know theres a lot of these threads but ive looked and none have told me a strait answer on how to make them i have cs3 and i shoot wit a xti i was wondering how to make sequences

the easiest way to go about it if youre learning would probably be shoot with a tripod, then just layer the frames on top of each other in photoshop.
