How to make mashups?

so i have some ideas for some cool ideas for some mashups...

are there any free progams for doing this? ripping lyrics and putting them over beats?

Can't really rip lyrics as far as I know... just gotta find a capellas and instrumentals. As far as finding those I'd start at http://jamglue.com. They also have a decent mashup program. For the best mashup software I'd try to torrent ableton live (I think thats what its called) or just buy it if you want to.
