How to make a good rail - j rigged

Alright i make my backyard rails with some 2 by 4 supports and a a cut piece of pbc on top.....anyone else no some better ways?
 
yeah, theres this stuff called puck board. its like what they use on boxes. use that w/ metal siding for a sweet box.
 
Learn to weld

go to dump

find metal to use

make sick rail

thats what i did and made a 40 ft flat bar about 3 feet tall it is sick
 
thats what I want to do this summer. Pending access to a welder, how easy is it to find good pieces of steel at the dump?
