How to lose weight before winter

ride your bike everyday, bike to work/school/everywhere, eat healthy, remember that every little thing you eat adds up so make it count, don't drink pop or sugary beverages (including some juices). awhile ago i dropped 30-40 pounds and i'm in the best shape of my life, i bike 13 miles to practice for my cross country team where we put in 5-6 miles a day- in other words, i basically do 2/3 of a triathalon daily. So do something like that if you can.

Download myfitnesspal on your phone to track your calories and macros. Find out what your maintenance caloric intake is using a calculator like this:

1 pound = 3500 calories so if you want to lose a pound a week eat at a 500 calorie deficit. You can lose weight without tracking everything you eat but numbers are comforting. You'll know exactly what's going on. You can eyeball stuff but it's easy to cheat that way so get some measuring cups and a food scale if you really want accuracy.

Other than that, drink water. Cut out Gatorade, energy drinks, all that shit. Those calories add up like crazy. Don't forget to track sauce either. Or just put mustard on everything. There's no calories in that, just a bunch of sodium.

You can lose weight through diet alone but exercise will definitely help out.

Decrease calorie intake, lose weight. That's the simplest way, but it will be a very long time to see results unless you exercise often as well.
