So long story short booked a flight last min and I am getting into slc 6 hours earlier than my friend. Hes renting a car and were going to pc. What can I do in slc for six hours while I wait?

go to chungas. get al pastor burrito. you will most likely be put into a food coma after eating such a beautiful burrito so that will kill the rest of the 6 hours

Go eat at "Crown burger". If you are over 21 go eat at "Lucky 13"

If you are eating in Park City go to "the Junction

Go to a bar and get drunk. Its the best way to meet people and kill time at the same time

this kid is clearly 17 years old or else he wouldn't be asking a ski website what to do to kill time in a city he's unfamiliar.

Go to the Temple and learn about the amazing culture and rich history behind the Mormon religion....

or just whack your meat for 6 hours straight.

For 6 hrs?

You've clearly never had a layover for more than 2 hours. Longest I've done was like 9 hours, missed a small regional flight and the next one didnt leave until that night, that was fucking brutal.

damn. I had a 9 hr one in LAX for which I spent the last 3 with a friend who lived there for the summer, and I thought the first 6 were brutal. I can't even imagine spending the full 9 hours. Watching the people is pretty entertaining though. some real characters.

I time teleported last week from Denver to NJ. Fired up a gameboy emulator with Pokemon Blue (nostalgia ftw) as soon as I got on the plane, next thing I know, we are wheels down in good old Newark.

Take the light rail from SLC to downtown. The neighborhood around the Capitol is pretty nice, spend some time at Temple Square, and eat at Red Iguana.

I just ate Crown Burger when I had a 6 hour layover in SLC. Not bad, but my friend only stopped there because he got lost on his way to Wasatch brewery and I had to get back to the airport.

Fire up the free WiFi at SLC airport and netflix duh.

Yup, I bought a pack of cigarettes and watched Netflix and smoked cigs in the indoor smoking rooms cuz you can't do that in MT or WA and it was sort of a novelty.

Did you get the Crown Burger? Not bad? That hurts... Man v Food went there. It is more than "Not Bad". It is life!

I am really glad you stumbled upon it in all honesty!

Crown burger is "not bad" at best. If you think its a really good burger then you haven't had a really good burger.

Take the free shuttle from the airport to the mormon temple square then walk around and get tours from nice mormon girls

1. Sign up for a pink name on newschoolers.com

2. Start a thread on newschoolers.com asking someone to show you around SLC for a few hours until your friend arrives.

3. Chose from one of the 20 potential tour guides who respond and offer to show you around for a few hours.

Sorted.

Damm I should have thought of this when I was trying to get some herb on my layover that would have been hilarious
