How to keep spirits high during an injury?

So I blew out my shoulder benching in the gym back in October, and had surgery on it the day before my hill opened. I'm more than likely going to miss the entire season or at best be able to ski the last weekend of the season. How can I keep my spirits up and not go stir crazy sitting at home all winter?

That's rough man. Take up a hobby like dabbing, the months will fly by

Or literally come to a standstill like Inception slow because ya know....Weed slows shit down

This may sound dumb but get into photography? If you ski urban at all you can still be part of the group, and if your comfortable skiing without doing tricks you can film your friends on the hill. The only issue would be the cost of a camera.

You can take advantage to "study" more about skiing, get to know your equipment better and spend time planning a proper recovery regime (rehab, nutrition, etc)

Participate in destroy dick December, its not too late... plus just jizz January and frequent fap February are just around the corner

Drink spirits and get high obviously.

Just try and find stuff you can do that you enjoy. When I was having shoulder surgeries I couldn't work parks or ride. Had to check tickets. Shit was lame. Ended up playing a bunch of call of duty with the controller next to me since I was in a sling. I had fun playing with people.

Idk. Try and get out and do stuff. Go out with friends. Go for a hike if it's not super fucking cold. Even if you need snowshoes or something. Pretty much find something to do.

The worst thing is sitting there flipping through TV channels or random internet pages feeling sorry for yourself. Good luck and hope you can grab some of the ass end of the season.

PS: Don't try a double flip your first day back on snow.

drink some liquor and hit on girls at the bar. Hang out with your friends who don't ski who you would otherwise never see if you were out riding. Find good movies to watch. If you can do lots of PT so that you'll heal faster
