How to just switch air without tails digging into landing?

i wanna get good at switch, and so ive been hitting a few jumps switch, just smaller kickers, sometimes i land it and sometimes my tails nail the landing and i bail. what i wanna know is any tips for weight distribution, to prevent tails digging in, and lets say you just air the jump switch, do you have your head over your shoulder the whole time? just some tips would be nice.i'd like to get good at hitting bigger jumps switch, so then i can work more on spins switch too.

don't need center mounts.

Lean forward a little more, and you should have it. Spot your landing well before you actually land, too.

make sure you know how to ski switch first before you try to land switch a whole bunch is all I can say

pick up your legs and spot your landing either over your shoulder or look down between your skis. this is assuming you have twin tips.

not almost...they are completely necessary why would you ever try landing sw without twins? That's a recipe for disaster right there.

I think looking under your armpit is the best. If you look over your shoulder, it makes you spin a little bit and looking between your legs doesn't work so well. This is just for 180s or zero spins.

Also, regular 180's are easier to land switch than a zero spin, try those first. And also, if you do take off switch make sure you wait until your tails have left the jump before you pop

Not true, i was doing 5s and 9s long beofre i owned a pair of twin tips. Just lean forward man, it helps the most.

lol yes i have twins, even if i didnt, sw landings wouldnt be a problem.. i can do 5s on my racers everytime so.

yeah i do focus on having my tips pointing down so my tails wont dig the landing. but, lets say i do just a 180, a big one at that, when im done spinning the 1, im still in air a good few feet my arms are just flailing, and its quite scary.

basically, when im switch in the air waiting to land, i have my head looking down in between my skis and at the ground, so when i land, im not looking over my shoulder.. what should i be doing in terms of where im looking?

i like looking over my shoulder but not really turning my body too much. that way when i land i can turn alot easier if i want to hit something else sort of close in line or if i need to stop to avoid someone or whatever.
