dont you get shin bang from leaning back in your boots ? how would putting shit in the front help that ?

I use them in my Langes combined with Booster straps because I have really skinny calves/shins. Solved all my problems.

pleaso stop saying that everybody, i have spks and my shin bang is so bad i can only ski 1 day a week maybe. the spks dont help shinbang more than any other boot

cut a whole in the center, then ur shins dont touch anything. and it doesnt hurt thet much anymore....and they cure shins...wear them everyday.

well now we have like a bajillion methods of preventing it (most common solution is buy booster straps)

now anyone wanna answer how to help heal it. i.e. iceing, heat, massageing...anything...for instance, how the fuck can i make it feel better by tommorow

yea i have booster straps i find they only help a bit. to heal it i put this cream on but i dont know what it is called but it burns for like 15 minutes alot and then there is no more pain and it feels like you never had shin bang

Ice them. And take some ibuprofen.

Takes a few days to really take care of them though.

make sure your boot doesnt wiggle around, makes the outsides of ur calves hurt a shitload. i might get those pad things

the bottom part of your shin hits the front and the top part of your calf on the back. just use a kitchen sponge. way easy to install and it has a lifetime warranty

Shin bang is shin splints, shin splints is when the muscle on your shin is pulling off the bone. It happens to us from landing backseat. Putting cotton balls shouldn't technically help in anyway but I can see why it would help your friend because he'd be more likely to keep a forward stance because it hurts less therefore eliminating backseat landings

i guess some muscles or something makes it stress on the front when u land backseat and try to fight your way back up

i soaked my shin in epsom salt and got a some different heel lifters and those work but so far i havent landed backseat so we'll see

yeah they work a bit because the regulare ones that your boots come with are just velcro and the booster straps you can get really tight and they will not get loose at all so they help a bit i guess

isnt that what those velcro straps are for?

and if they dont work just wear like 2 pairs of socks

thats what i used to do when my ankle was still sketch from breaking it

i love my booster straps they seem to help a lot. they go super tight so it is about impossible to get shinbang and it only tightens the top of ur boot

damn theres alota stupid fucking people on this site. I have booster straps, boots that fit, and dont even ski park that much and still get fucking terrible shin bang sometimes. so stop telling popel to stop landing backseat because no matter how hard u try its gonna happen every once in a while, and stop saying buy spks and other gay shit like that and help people out.

As for the maker of this thread, ice your shins a lot and it should go away in a few days and then ice again after u ski
