How to get your balls back

I have fucked myself up multiple times and I just dont feel like its worth it to go and huck myself. If i wasnt afraid of injury I probaly would be a fucking pro by now. What do you guys do after a big ass crash or a broken bone, not fingers or wrists but like a humerus or a femur. how do you go guinea pig a 50 footer?

dude i have tried getting shit faced,I swear to god it makes me think about it more. so i end up sitting at the top of the park on my ass wondering if i should go possibly break a major bone in my body or go home watch conan and have some chicken wings.

well always know why you are doing what are you doing, if you think it's worth it to learn a new trick and possibly break yourself, then go ahead. If you dont think it's worth it, then don't plan on getting much better

being prepared also helps. Going to a gymnastics center or a pool and practicing on a tramp or divingboard can really improve your confidence. If you know what your doing, you wont be as afraid to try it.

Start by hittin the smaller stuff again and working your way up to the bigger stuff. Once you got your confidence back then hit the big ones again. Spend lots of time practicing the hits so that it becomes second nature. Goin too big too quick is a good way to get broken.

"The key is to Vis-ua-lize. Picture yourself stomping it, then go out and do it." (that lovely anequdote (sp?) was from John Smart's Smart Mogul Skiing from back in the day, WHICH I happen to own three copies of.)

First don't think, ski the park begining to end hitting everything that gets in your way, WITH STYLE. Try new shit along the way too cause that way it becomes survival.

laura, please don't tell me this is from personal experience. i don't want to hear that your balls have previously gone missing and you've had to retrieve them. ahhh!

Well, no, I can't say I've lost them myself, but I do have many a male friend who needed help retrieving their testicles, and well, you could say I like to lend a hand.

ive had several bad injurys(8 knee surgerys) and everytime i have comeback and gotten better, i just get right back up after i fall and do it until i get it right....in my opinion life is too short not to go big, so u gotta go big...so in other words fuck it just do it like it was your last.....

don't think about it, give your self alot of cinfidence and tell your self you can do it. The more you wait and think about it the worse it gets.

getting injured is just part of sports. I seoerated my shoulder last year and broke my collarboen the year before, a month and a bit of heeling then you're set.

just think of it like this... if you dont do it you'll never know if u coulda stomped that trick and at that moment some big company rep could be watching and u could get sponsered for it..

try to ski with someone better than you, or atleast someone the same qualitly of you and make sure they push you to be better. that helps me

well last february, i broke 8 ribs, collapsed a lung, and lacerated my liver skiing. im back at it now, ive learned 270s on both ways, and both switchups since the wreck. i was in the hospital 10 days

ok ill start by explaining my previous post.

it was snowing hard as shit, and there was about a foot on the ground. i couldnt see 5 feet in front of me, and i carved right, and someone came to the left and cut me off. i had no where to go and i couldnt see, next thing i know im in the woods against a tree. 2 hours later (yes the normal 20 minute trip to the hospital in the ambulance took 1.5 hours cuz of the snow). so i ended up with 8 broken ribs, collapsed lung, and lacerated liver.

now ill explain all my skiing injuries.

1. Ribs, lung, liver

2. broken collar bone

3. Blown ACL

4. Blown ACL again

5. torn tendons in shoulder and elbow.

skiing is my life, and nothing is stopping me.

I know what he's talking about, I'm still recovering from a broken humerus from last season, and techically I'm not suppose to be on the hills this year, but I'm still going, I just have not do any jumps, how the fuck am I not suppose to do that?

Take them outta your purse ahha, but seriously i donno the trick is to not care. I actually find it funny to have a big bail now and where i would normally feel pain it just feels like theres alot of pressure. Ive wrecked some stuff i was gettin xrays on my ankle and they told me i had a hair line, and an old fractor on my foot i didnt know about. broken and dislocated collar bone, some strained ligaments, currently i have a possible broken wrist i need to go get the xrays tho but im pretty sure it is lol

I'm kinda in the same place. I had a torn mcl that took me out of the last month of the season. I'm just working on getting it stronger so I can ski normal without doing it again.

All you kids be careful with cold smoke on a thin base now.

JUST THINK what if i get hit by a bus onmy way home, or get paralyzed or some shit just on my way to the store and while i had the chance to go big i pussy'ied out..

If it takes you longer to think about it than it does to ski it, then your fucked. I have that problem too.

After you figure out how much speed you need for certain distances, its easyer to guinie pig a jump
