Ive literally ttried everything, After im done skiing I put them outside; Lysol and Fabreez them and that doesnt even work. Ive had to keep them outside for 3 months now because it reeks up our house haha. Im considering new boots.. But for now anyone have any tricks to get the smell out?

+K for reasonable suggestions.. Non of this "Shit in your boot, crap.."

Prolly try gettin those sneaker ball thingys that bake shoes smell better or put soap in your boot or spray a ton of cologne in your boot.

Have not tried this yet, but I heard freezing your liners kills the bacteria and therefore gets rid of the smell.

Actually yeah some nasty boots smell like cat piss because there is something in your sweat (cant remember name) that smells like cat piss... its like namonia or somethin..

ahahah..
But seriously, go to a sport shop and they have some machine that removes the odor of stinky hockey gloves .. asked them if i can you putyour boots .. it looks like a big oven.

I love how Dan and Pete have the same answer within 1 second of one another.

Classic

Op, stuff them with dryer sheets.

Works like a charm.

i'd think that works. remember that thread about a kid who did a study to see how long you can wear clothes for before they become dirty? he wore a pair of jeans without washing them for a long time (like months, might have been a year). there was bacteria on them, then he froze them and collected another sample and they were mostly gone.

soak liners in bucket of oxi clean for about 2 days, works like a charm, and freezing liners doesnt work, it just makes your freezer like dead things

Have you guys ever tried using Natures Miracle?

I thought about using it for my stanky boots. Works amazingly well at getting rid of the smell of REAL dog and cat piss on the carpets.

Thoughts?

wear that liner on your face for like three days. Eat, breathe and smell boot liner. Bang, boot liner smell immunity.

soak the liners in luke warm water and a mild soap. let them dry naturally (ie no heat) and that should do the trick

I dont really care what mine smell like, but I left them in the office one night and it smelled terrible the next morning.
