How to get rid of a dead groundhog?

theres this groundhog that has been living in the ground somewhere in our front yard for about a year, while i was at high north it turns out that my dad caught it and put a bucket over it with weights and left it there for 3 days, this morning i went to go check on it, assuming that it was dead and it is still moving a little bit after not eating anything for 3 days

but it looks like its gonna die soon

i dont know what i should do with it
 
if ur a wierdo then u can "play around" with it

all i can picture is you poking it with a stick and beating the shit out of it.so safe yourself the trouble and just get rid of it
 
just kill in in the hole, then put some dirts ontop. The hole is then filled and you have no body to worry about
 
stick it in something that you can put your exhaust pipe from your car into and then just start your car. it will just like die painlessly.
 
take the pillow out of someone's pillow case and replace it with the dead possum and videotape their reaction when they find it and then send it to America's Funniest Home videos and win $10,000 YUAAAAYYY
 
i would of just brought it to a forested area a ways away from, your house and just chucked it...it would live and you still got to throw it...win win situation...!
 
you could leave it in the bucket... put it in your car... and drop the groundhog in a more suitable environment

or if you are really hell bent on killing it. you really shouldnt starve it to death, or bury it alive, and if you ate it you could get sick... come to think of it a cant really think of a humane way to kill a ground hog. just drop it off on someones farm or something
 
throw it off a highway overpass as a convertible drives by. either that or leave it in somebodies mailbox facing outwards so when they open it its like a little groundhog looking up at em. haha.
 
i have 1 living under my shed and my dog got into a lil arguement with it and beat the shit outta it i haven;t seen it since
 
Yeah man, just kill it fast and put it in the woods. Cut it's head off fast and it won't be bad for it.
 
get a shovel. Pick up the groundhog with the shovel, throw it in a trashbag. Tie the trashbag and put it in your garbage. My dogs kill groundhogs like once a month. It's routine
 
that's pretty terrible that you starved an animal to death under a bucket. just putting that out there
 
thats what I was thinking, why not just kill it or release it right away? Whats the point of torturing making its last moments horrible for the past 3 days?....just wondering.
 
if its not dead, shoot it twice in the head. if its dead just take it to a place where you can burry it. coyotes or foxes will dig it up for sure. at least thats what I do with all the animals I get.
 
dude, i've already said run it over with a lawnmower... but make sure you have a multching blade cause things could get messy if you dont
 
This hilarious event seems like something that you, your family and the groundhog share. I say, let it live, put it back in its hole, and then try and capture it again. Its like something you share with the groundhog. I think it sounds fun. We have mice, and sucks trying to catch mice, but a fucking groundhog, that would be awsome. But yeah, Nurse it back to health, make it a pet maybe, or just make it really strong and smarter, so now it will be hilarious when your dad tries to catch the little fucker again.. HHAHAH better yet, tell your dad you killed it and burried it in some park. Then nurse is back to health, and then your dad will be soo pissed because he will think there is another groundhog running around his lawn. !! hah Do that. Or keep it as a pet and name it Rodney.
 
Well, it seems he would just burrow out if he was desperate enough... he could dig right out easily I bet.

If not, and it dies in there- fill it in with dirt. You might have to keep doing it every year tho because it will pack further into his hole aroudn his carcass
