Also any tips on rails first year trying non box stuff. I plan on adding height once snow comes.

Also all I got for a drop so far, was better when I made it

yo if that’s where youre skiing use your deck for a drop in. build a little drop in setup that just props up against the deck. buy a 10 ft 1in diameter pvc at the hardware store and 1 or 2 2x4s, use a spade drill bit to drill 1’1/4 holes through the 2x4 lengthwise and then put pvc rungs so it looks like a ladder and then u can drop in off the deck

For sure yeah that’s the plan to drop in off the deck, that’s dope tho might try out your idea for the drop in. I was just gonna build I bigger snow mound and drop off some wood blocks

if you’re struggling for snow for a lip don’t wanna use it all for the drop in ?

yes exactly, youll still need snow at the base of it so your tips dont just dig into the ground but u can also put extra pvc rungs/ add another part of wood there to mellow out the angle so its a smoother transition

Yeah I mean doing what your doing is one of two ways to get onto a rail on the ground. Other way is to Ollie on. Nothing wrong with the step on if it works for you.

Yeah I’d just practice a couple of ollies. Once you get the hang of them you can do them pretty much anywhere onto small stuff

You could also construct a lil dry slope lip and drop in with astroturf or construction fencing, and then with even a lil dusting of snow you are money

You could make a drop in from your deck hella cheap with a piece of plywood and a few 2x4s and do the same for a lil Lip
