How to get beter at skiing without skiing

Workout. If you are in good shape and eat right you will be a really good skier. The more sports you do that require balance, the better you are on rails, in the air, and anywhere else in skiing. I'm going to wake up at 6:00am every morning this summer and run 3 miles. My goal is to be running a 5:45-5:40 mile by the end of the summer. Not only that, I will be a better mountain bike racer and my endurance will be strong. I also race xc mountain bikes so that's usually 1hour:30min. or more of constant racing. I will be so in shape. It feels so good to be in shape too.

haha omg i do the same thing ... ill like try to visualize hard tricks and at first i cant even like imagine how to do them but after a while i can tottaly see myself doing them

lmao i thought i was the only one who randonly jibs on curbs and rocks and shit when im walking around.

i feel like much less of a tool now.

parkour is exellent

check out david belle, sebastien foucan, chase armitage and also check out the movies district b13 and yamikaze...

i've known about this stuff since like back in grade 9 (2004) where everyone said wtf when i tried to explain what parkour and freerunning are :P

if you want to do more flips and shit try freerunning, more getting from point a to b fast try parkour..that's the basic difference.

Try slacklining, its great for your balance, furthermore, try longboarding, not really ski-related but carving up concrete feels allmost as good as carving groomers...

And for getting down rotations and grabs, as mentioned, spin 180/360 of stairs and sidewalks, try grabs when going down the stairs and stuff, much like parkour but really focus on rotations and grabs, if i was you id keep flips for trampolines and diving boards, parkour isnt really all that healthy for your ankles

alot of this stuff is helpful.also maybe pick up skateboarding, may not have anything to do with skiing but it definatly helps with your cordination soo much
