How to flip precisely cliff jumping

I've been experimenting with throwing some single flips off of small cliffs, how are you supposed to flip off of cliffs precisely. I feel like when I am falling I can't continue a flip motion because very well and can't land fully straight because the sensation of falling is so intense.

can you stomp said cliff straight air?

i have never backied a natural takeoff cliff drop...

packing out a lip/takeoff is part of safely skiing BC, so i dont care when people have called me out for it..

I'd try packing a bit of a lip on the edge. I'd imagine throwing a backy off a flat lip wouldn't be easy. Are you going for front flips or back flips anyway?

Getting good at pulling gainers into water would help too. I know for me practicing those will get you nice and comfortable with the motion while dropping. I find you want to get most of the flip in right away and then just open up and land it.

Post some videos too!

Just close your eyes and your body will do the rest. Be sure to have someone filming it so you can upload it to NS later.
