so my zipper blew out today on loveland pass in 2 degree weather. its one of those super techy taped/waterproofed zippers and the entire bottom end (where you would start zipping up from) blew out and now the zipper wont catch anymore so it wont zip.

any suggestions on waht i can do? i love the jacket and im broke so it needs to get fixed.

If it's that much of a technical jacket, don't forget about the manufacturer's warranty. Could be lifetime on a zipper, especially if it's Gore-Tex.

I honestly have no idea, but I'm sure if you took it to a tailor/seamstress/sewingwoman they could fix it up for you for fairly cheap

good call on the warranty ill check that out. its like 3 seasons old though so i definitely dont have the receipt or any sort of warranty information anymore.

ill look into a tailor too.

hoping there would be a cheaper/easier fix though

for something so small, dont even bother with the warranty, just take it a tailor. they will have it done in a day for pretty cheap
