How to fall?

I see a lot of people giving out advice about “learning to fall”, but I can’t find anything on NS or similar about how to actually safely fall or how to learn it. Y’all got any resources for it?

If I'm not feet first on the fall and there's no rail to attempt to save myself on, go with the flow baby. Caught the tip of my ski trying a switch mute back to back from initiating the grab a tad too soon and went head first into the landing. Got lucky because I was perfectly positioned into the slope of the landing so I slid down both times as I twisted on my back. My collarbone was quivering from the close calls.

Like mentioned in the video above Martial arts training helps!

Unfortunately it didn't save me from the box slide edge catch land in the splits crash I had two years ago.

Learning how to fall would take a whole tutorial but one quick thing i’ll say now is don’t fall with your arms or legs extended because it puts your shoulder and knee joints in a vulnerable position.

Also if you’re falling on a rail and need to brace yourself use your hands for catching the rail and not your forearm because youll break your arm and if you’re falling on ground use your forearm and not your wrists cuz youll break your wrist lol

Word on the street is these guys were just practicing/innovating falling techniques:

If ya don't know whey at Breck, under Quicksilver, it's called "ballet hill" - now ya do...

dont smoke weed and have one beer instead of 7. Less of a chance that the can explodes on impact or the glass breaks.
