How to embed bigger pictures

So what I've always done is upload pictures to my media and then embed it into the thread, but lately the images are really small, like 90x90. I know when I upload them to my media they're a lot bigger than that

Are you sure you are uploading the correct files? You could try uploading to a file hosting site such as imgur then embedding the photos from imgur rather than local files. They should stay large then.
