How to Edit?

Anyone know where to find a guide on editing. I have never done one before but want to learn. Any help would be great!

Its one that came on my computer, some sony kind. I am at work and will find out the real name when i get home.

just google " *whatever program you use* edditing tutorials" or sub tutorioals with tips

to tell you the truth, you don't learn much from editing tutorials... it's all with time and messing around really. Atleast.. that's how I learned a lot of stuff and everything. And a lot of what makes an edit look good is also the angles of the shots and how you took the video through the camera.

I got a new program it's "AVS Video & Audio Editing", anyone know anything about this? I sorta pieced a few things togethor, but need lots more guidance
