how to do sequences

if it's digital, just make sure that the camera is in the same spot for all the pictures in the sequence, then go into photoshop and lay them all on top of eachother with the setting at 'transparent' or something. If it isn't digital, talk to a cool guy at your local photo store (an asshole would just tell you to fuck off). Also, make sure it's a big photo store, because a one-hour shithole won't be able to do it.

take the stills froim the vid that u need,and clausen,u live in mammoth and and one of the best photographers on this site...ur not allowed to say shitty anymore...unless its about a pencil 3 in the vid section

video cameras are ideal for it because they take like 30+ frames per second so you'll have all the frames you need. Unfortunately the quality isn't very good when you capture it off video.

I think the video camera idea sucks, and the Turpin sequence has been my background for like 3 months. The big one too. And I edited the colors and contrast and such to make it look marginally better.

You need a camera that will let you take continous pictures every x amount of seconds.. Your camera needs to be in the same spot throughtout the whole sequence.. so the backgrounds match up.

Next, your going to have like 10 pictures on your computer (depending on your x amount of seconds).. Pick a picture you like and start with that one.

Now open up the other pictures and roughly cut out the skier and copy and paste him into the picture you chose in the step above.. Match up the backgrounds and your there.. I'd limit the skiers because too many is kinda of annoying..

id have to get a very good camera to make that look clear. if u hava crappy one u could get blur and it could look pixely. well i have a crappy one. i should get money for a better one.

on non digital cameras set it to the sports photo setting where it takes my pictures by you gus holding the button down(use a tripod) DONT MOVE THE CAMERA! then develope the negs. and then layer them in the enlarger and turn the Light to full and then make a test strip find the right time and put a peice of photo paper in the try, develope, and show off to friends.

video cameras... depends on the camera. Some cameras interlace(share information between) the frames to save space. If that is the case your pics will come out real shitty. But if your camera takes 30 frames a second, i'd wish i were you.
