How to do hand drags with poles?

you do need enough pressure to hook, to bring yourself back on axis though. some people just throw both poles in one hand...

I noticed on "yeah dude" i tihnk, that when they had the tree jib set up and they were handplanting it, that the skiers only had one poles so the other hand was free.

we need someone or a video of this hand drag with a pole

now, i think you can be able to do it, as long as the grip doesnt dig into the snow and catch

If your going fast enough theres not much pressure, plus you hardly feel it if you wear gloves. Just put the strap around your hand and hold the pole with your thumb/ side of you hand when you execute the drag.

lol i wish i could... remember that 1800 call-att commercial where they're selling a weight machine for fingers so you can dial better

okay this ins't that hard you hold the pole with your thumb against your hand and reach with your fingers and the pole strap also helps hold the poles near your hand, this is a silly question

if you're worried about your hand dragging or planting, just put both poles in one hand while you do it and then put the poles back in both hands after to continue skiing. will wesson did this is wanderland and it looked fine like that

All the pros duct tape the pole to their palm, that way you can hand drag with an open palm, closed fist, or even with just your pink without having to worry about dropping your pole... which you probably stole from rental anyway.

get the poles that have the plastic/rubber bit that goes around the backside of your hand as well, really old poles had them, you could just switch the grip over.
