How to do doubles

i've been wanting to try doubles on the tramp but how exactly do you get yourself to do another flip/rotation?

I stomped my first double (back) this year, on snow though. you've just got to go for it, it's all in your head. If you think about it it doesn't hurt more to crash on a double than on a single backflip, same thing.. That helped me a lot, I just rememberd how it was first learning backflips and how scary it was but still really easy once you figured it out. You've just gotta go for it

its a lot easier to start out with just straight up dub fronts or backs then you can move on to different dubs. thats how i learned

true, but there is a bit of a difference. Take learning a higher spin - yes you need to commit, but if you under/over rotate it, and you land on your uphill edges, then you'll be fine. However, if you do the same for a flip, you'll most likely eat $h!t.

I'd say the key for me when learning a backflip was to throw it hard right off the lip,, because you can always slow the flip. Get your two rotations done as early as possible so you don't have a rushed landing. Good luck baggyt, I want to see this at Pats next year!

on tramp, you could learn them halfway first. forexample doublebackflip, when you just start backflip to you your bac, same with double linc, djflip, dubcork or whatever you want to learn. but before u try, learn to throw you into the right axe

dont mean to thread jack but seeing this is about doubles.. whats the easiest double to start out with? most people start with dub fronts and lincons?

whatever trick you want to double make sure you can do the single good first then do one and a half by landing safely in a back drop. dub flat for example do a lincoln and a half to get comfotable for dubs
