How to do a cork 720?

just go for it idk really cuz ive never done one but thats usually all you hav to do to get something and dont give up on it

no

best practice is a tramp to get the feeling. spin a 7 like you normally would, to cork look back over your leading shoulder (left if you spin left), the 7 should come naturally. to cork more or less vary how much you lean into it.

...yes

and im sure thats what he means because thats really the only place you can practice it like that. thats the best way to get a feeling for it

yeah i learned corks by doing 180 into misty, then it just came, i think its fine to learn them like that

after going through this whole process myself, i can tell you the order of tihngs to try.

1. do a 180 to belly drop. this is called a half airplane.

2. do a 180 to back drop. this is called a full airplane.

in both cases your head should be pointing backwards from how you started. if it isnt, your doing it wrong.

3. do the full airplane, but put more rotation. This is the first method.

second method: just try spinning over your shoulder. this is the hucking method, and works for some people.

third method: do a 180 to misty 5. DO NOT CHEAT, do a full 180 before getting into the misty rotation. if you cheat you will not do it.

This is how i teach it, remember its only my opinion. try these out and see for yourself.

Best of Luck!!

before i learnt corked 7's i learnt corked 5's and 9's. for some reason i find it easy landing switch in a corked spin. don't if thats just me or other people. Also drop your shoulder, thats what puts you off your axis.

I cant say that im good on corks but 180 to misty sounds wrong.

Just drop your shoulder and set the spin

i did it by accident my first time. the best piece of advice is just drop your outside shoulder. the whole 180 to misty 5 seems too confusing

oh yeah for sure, but what im saying is i just got the feel for corks by doing 180 into misty, so i was comfortable going back. once you learn to go back like that you can tweak them however you want

i apologize for any misunderstanding haha

Last year I tried some cork 7s. I just dropped my shoulder and looked down behind me. Then I tried another one. But my friend said it wasn't that corked even though I felt like I got corked.

Then I went up again and really threw it hard. I musta spun like a cork nine but I never 'uncorked' and I landed on my face.

Any tips on how to uncork it? Or just how not to land on your face?

honestly i first learned them by hucking random shit on the trampoline i always learn new stuff that way haha. all you gotta do is set your arms like a reg seven but throwthem diagonally down in the dircection you wanna go and just keep experimenting with it. once you get the feeling there really easy but thats like any other trick i guess.

just try it a bunch on the trampoline and get used to going off axis. make sure you allow your feet to follow your body and tuck your knees in. doing lazy boy's really helped me get comfortable with going off axis.

just spin and drop you shoulder
you can also carve to help set it more smoothly but the dropped shoulder is all you need. if you practice on a trampoline first the rotation will come naturally when ur skiing.
doesnt a 180 to misty set a bio not a cork since your head would be in from of your feet spinning?

yeah. once you get the pop then throw your shoulders and i then look at my heels which sets my rotation nicely. Through harder for 9s and slower for 5s. i then tried cork 3s and stuck it first try. these are really fun.
