If you saw two guys named Hambone and Flippy, which one would you think liked dolphins the most? I'd say Flippy, wouldn't you? You'd be wrong, though. It's Hambone.
find a 5-10 foot table strait air it a few times then through a few 180's over it. there isn't much to a 3, just keep looking over ur shoulder your body follows where your head goes
but...what helps for me. if u can do it on flat ground on ure feet then u can do it on snow. jsut try to lick ure back. best piece of advice ive ever heard. (just dont stick ure tongue out cause that could be gnarly)
just fucking turn yourself 360 degrees in a circle, turn your head, make sure you land at the right angle and fucking stomp it so hard your god damn ankles break
I was pissed cuz I could not do a three for a while. Then I tried it on a larger jump and WHAM! I stomped it. So go fast and big and spot your landing.

yeah ^^^^ i lost a 3 for a while, but if you hit a larger jump, you dont have to whip it around, its much easier to bring around and land cleanly so follow his ^^^^ advice, go fast go big
ok, pretty mych, come up thew jump with slightly bend knees, I set my hands up a bit. pop and as ur popping just start comign around, just keep looking oiver ur shoulder and tuck up and grab for style, u will see ur landing and u pretyy much know if it's gonna be stomped or not
hey man 3s r easy u dont need tips just huck it round if u really have 2 and then try style it lata wen theyre as natural 2 u as straight airs. good luck.
Once you get good at them, you can huck them off of little 1-2ft bumps, but until then you probably want to find a 4 ft jump. Start with 180s and throw some of them until you get comfortable with them.. Now your ready for the 3s. The key is to spin with your head, i.e. look around over your shoulder and keep looking until you spot your landing and your body will follow. Also, i found that 'cocking' my arms and wiping them around right as I took of the jump was helpful when i first started. Understand that this looks pretty ugly, but once you get better you shouldnt need to do this but should be able to just get yourself around with little effort.. This takes practice though! Just remember to always look over the shoulder and keep your head turning till your ready to land.
i heard you had to own a pair of 4frnts or armadas to do twirl spins

some of you guys are real buttholes. i just learned last year (20 years old baby!). the thing that helped me the most was throwing a roundhouse punch with my leading arm (left arm to spin right, right arm to spin left). somebody said this was ugly and I agree, but it really gives you the momentum and keeps you on axis.
they're not that hard you just gotta be brave enough to try, i landed it on the 2nd or 3rd attempt. good luck man

If male strippers were paid as much female ones, I'd be a rich man
Yeah, but heres the thing, learning 180s are cool, but on a jump larger thatn 10 feet they are as hard as threes, at least for me. The roller idea is the best. You can go slow and under rotate and you wont die.

my brothers thought i couldnt do 360's last year but i could, its jus cuz my 180's r so much better cuz i can do them over 20 footers every time.......
'I heard that Richard Gere gerbils. That is, he inserts gerbils into a paper towel tube, which he then sticks up his butthole. I don't doubt this, because he asked me if i wanted to come over to his house and gerbil. I insisted that he come over to MY house, since the whole thing seemed weird. As a practical joke, i attached a bucket of water to the top of the door so that when he opened it, I beat him with a mannequin leg.'-Skydaddy
i would say the most commen mistake people make when learning threes is looking at the ground the whole time. that tends to make your body go off center and produces nasty spills.
keep looking around leveled with your shoulders, not looking down.
I was trying a five yesterday and i landed, but my ski popped off. 3s are easy, just wind up like 10 feet before the jump, then when you get to the lip, swing your arms around and that will get you spinning. Throw in a grab or it's worthless

Don't you hate it when you have a cocktail fork and you stab yourself in the eye!? God I hate that!
I leanred on like semi-quarter pipish jump and i found that that is easiest. One only need to be three feet in the air to do a 3 anyway but boost bigger than you think you need to.
At first its a strange, out-of-control feeling but you'll get used to it. 3's will never hurt either, unless you huck yourself off a cliff or something.
try it first w/ a small jump and make sure to turn w/ your whole body not just your upper or lower, cuz that's what fucked me over. if u cant hit it on the smal one just go bigger.
k man ill share with u how i taught myself them... go up to the jump when u reach the very end of the lip turn your right ski left just a bit and pop off and keep lookin... it should feel just like doing a 360 without your skis on... and dont be scared man its almost impossible to hurt yourself on a 360 unless your doing it over a 120 footer or if you over shoot the jump by far
yeh so true about the looking at the ground thing... it took me ages to learn them cause i always was looking at the ground. and as soon as i looked up and to my right or left or wateva i landed it...
I SMELL A LIAR MARTOCK! Or maybe its just that he learned a 5 during the season. Haha, you knew that, why am I talking. Its past 7, I should get to bed. My head hurts like fuck.
