HOLY CRAP HE IS MOVING LIKE A ROBOT WHAT IS THIS DANCE CALLED I HAVE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE EPIC

Aside from the incredible level of production, how much fun it is to dance to, and the ridiculous amount of creativity involved in creating both songs and DJ sets? Yeah, gee... I can't figure it out. :P

i cannot groove to dubstep... its not funky enough.. give me some james brown or earth wind and fire or tower of power... thats a band thats production.

The flavor and production value are two entirely different things... I'd go so far as to say the production value on any Excision or Rusko track is as good as any James Brown track. Rusko's a master producer and the level he's taken the production of electronic music to is unbelievable.
What you're talking about is personal taste in style... which has pretty much nothing to do with what I posted.

you really hit the nail on the head.

come play some fuckin shows in detroit man your new shit is sick btw

just gonna leave this here for those who haven't seen it yet...
(and yes, i know its not dubstep)/static/images/flash_video_placeholder.png

no i am talking about a live band... not 2 or three guys and a computer. dont get me wrong its a human behind the machine. and that takes skill. but i will continue to go with the idea that dubstep is a fad and will go the way of limp biscut, i find that dubstep music is convoluted and nothing more than a rhythmic for people that want to be on one powerfull wavelength to join together. kinda lame of you ask me. but in the end truly human.... and how can one say that dancing to dubstep is free expression when there seems to be a set way of dancing to it???

After hearing 5 minutes of dubstep, it pretty much sets the tone for the entire genre. Every song sounds alike. I don't get how people can listen to a genre as narrow as dubstep and still call it a genre.

my theory lies in the drug induced frenzy many listeners tend to be in when they partake. shit is terrible.
