How to cut a 45 degree angle with a reciprocating saw.

It's hard, use^ to find your angles and draw lines on all the sides needed. Start cutting slow, check your line make sure your on. Circular saws aren't that expensive.
 
get one of those saw guides form home depot,you can get the cheap plastic ones for like 10 or 15 bucks or you can get the expensive ones that include a metal base,a saw and the clamping device,maybe even available at canadian tire,i am gonna get one of these to build my next rail and summer drop in.
