You could try making a simple one out of pvc pipeing they are good to practice on.

well, theres 2 ways, first, you could use forum search, and find one of the other 20 posts about this. or second you could go get some fucking metal and have your dad weld it together. after its welded, dig into the ground, oh 3 feet, put the supports of the rail in, and pour concrete around it.

PVC and wood if you dont have welding capabilities.. pvc slides beautifully, especially when its frozen

wont pvc crack if u hit on it hard enough. I think i am building a rail later on but i dont know how to weld so im gonna get some steel pipe stuff like 15 feet or somethin maybe like 2 inches across and drill some holes in the bottom. then ill just take some nuts and bolts and anchor it into some wood or something. but if pvc works, then i mught try that let me know
 
dude ive made a rail before out of pvc pipe buckets and 2-4 so just screw the pvc to the 2-4 and then screw that down to the buckets use three buckets and uve got ur self a rail pvc slides really nicely
 
nah sorry man i dont have aney pic but it works really well and it takes about half an hour the only problem was that the buckets we got were really shitty but if u got durable buckets it would be awsome
