I was at shop that im starting to work at today trying on hot doggers, but the buckle systen is mad complicated and the tongue seems to small for the liner, any tips?

it was confusing at first, but once you learn how to do it, its really easy. but if the buckle wont buckle, it might be too small

stupid thread aside, does buckling the boots in some sort of order affect anything? I've had other people tell me the opposite. supposedly, bottom first to lock your foot in, then the top part so your foot doesn't move? I do have il moros though so maybe it's different with 3 and 4 buckles.

might not even make a difference at all.

Maybe your in too small of a size? When I tried on full tilts that were too small I found it really hard to buckle them up.

whatever doesn't cause pressure points or screw up the overlap of the boot is all that matters really. with FTs, I found that if you work top down when doing them up, the cables will sit more easily in the grooves. And when getting out, you usually have to undo the toe first because otherwise the cable will be too taught to get it off the shell anchor. In traditional overlap boots, I work bottom up so the overlap doesn't get folded improperly by the cuff.

The reason for top down when putting boots on is to not lock your toes/foot in an uncomfortable position. By buckling the top and flexing it moves the ankle and foot back in a proper position and then you follow up with doing the lower buckles

you work in a shop and don't know how to buckle a boot? more importantly, you can't figure it out?

oh good lord...
