ok, i tryed searchbaring this but it was hard.

so i have gotten straight A's all my life. one time i got a B+ and that got my mom worried enough to call the teacher and make sure i was doing ok wiht everything. my mom is one of the biggest tightasses ever. and she's a complete bitch. i don't really have time to go into detail on her but just trust me. now here's the thing i need advice please. grades are about to come out and i'm pretty sure i'm gonna get at least one, maybe two bad ones. like Cs or worse. how do i make it seem less bad? she like wants me to go to an ivy league school or something so i think she's gonna kill me. and the worst part is, i'm afraid she will make me quit baseball, my second favorite sport to skiing, because all this is happening during my first season on the high school baseball team. any help/advice would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. thanks. oh and sorry i didn't clean it up, i didn't realize it was that long.

Tell your mom to fuck off? That always works. Tell her you can get into college with shitty gpas and high SAT/ACT scores so high school is practically worthless.

yeah like i already took the real SAT twice, in seventh and eigth grade and did OK so i dunno but im just trying to see if anyone has any tried and true methods? thanks

Tell her that in the real world, its your personality and take on life that really matters. Tell her that your happiness is all that should matter to her if she really cares about you. Whether you are doing brain surgery or ski bumming around the country, all that she should care about is how happy you are, not how much money you're making. Success depends on who you ask.

If and when you get bad grades tell her she pushed you too hard and daddy was never home. Also, you might want to consider a severe drug addiction.

First of all, what year are you? I'd start by showing her the grades then saying that you know you have to work on some of your classes, and that you will handle it. After that, make sure that you get those classes sorted out. If you don't want to stop playing baseball then you will put the extra effort in. If you do raise your grades, then you won't have anything to worry about. Your mother will trust you to be able to handle your own grades. Just don't be disrespectful.

oh - and also, it is pretty disturbing you know how tight your mother's ass is.

Just like everywhere else colleges are looking for progression. If you suck ass your junior and senior year you'll get in to a sweet community college. If you push hard and show improvement those last few you'll get street creds.

I used the goggle spell czech to make sure I donet look reetarted.

then your grades now are completely meaningless. Colleges will never see these grades. The only possible way grades now will help you is if they make the difference between making honors classes or retard classes.

oh well im in like all honors... which actually blows. sometimes i wish i had forseen this and gotten bad grades in elementary school so nothing would be expected of me

yeah, i thought like that for a little while too. then i decided that i do want to be successful so i kept on keeping on

graduated high school about a year ago and am just finishing a gap year. going to U of richmond in the fall

Here's how you break it.

"Mom? I've got some bad news.

I got 2 C minuses this term.

...

And I'm addicted to crystal meth."

It's foolproof.

Somehow it seems like you have better marks than me, and my mom thinks its really good.

I have 85 average

i never show them. they dont even know when report cards come, and its not on their mind so they never think about it. one time they asked me about it and i said that they saw it.

only show them the good ones though!

Your university entrance system is so harsh.

Also your icon is the same colour as my new Von zipper goggles.

see you started on the worng foot if you just accepted that one day those A's were gonna stop you shoulda just dumbed down right there set low standards and your mom would eventually get off ur dick

thats what im banking on, but yeah pretty much just sack up and tell them before your report card comes, so what you get yelled at for a good 15 minutes then life goes back to normal no worries, but really tell your mom to chill, unless you want to go to harvard or yale, which most people dont, dont sweat bad grades shit happens you can bring it up, i brought 4 Cs up this quarter to As you just got to work the system

I couldn't agree more. Thats the philosiphy my parents follow.

You should have just gotten bad grades in the first place, like me Joe. haha.

Just tell your mom want you want. Like where you want to go college. If you don't want to go to an ivy league school then you shouldn't let her force stuff on you. Just say you messed up that next year you'll work a little harder. Just say that everyone makes mistakes and you made one or two. She'll get over eventually.

im taking it your in 9th grade...what i would do is

tell her that it was a big jump from middle school to high school(which it is) and you just needed a year to get used to it.

also tell her that it wont hurt your overall gpa when your a senior very much at all...and sat's are what really count. try that....

word, or tell your mom something worse before you tell her about the grades, like, mom i got my girlfriend knocked up, and oh ya mom i got bad grades to

tell her that the high standards she has of you makes you depressed, and youve been thinking of suicide lately

my parents were kinda the same way, but not to that level. my grades slowly decreased as my uncle (second father basically) became paralyzed. the best way to hit them with grades is be truthful. I've gotten to the point where i tell my parents all my test grades so I can get help early, instead of everything going on me at the end. The truth is, 9th grade only matters for getting into higher classes for later. Colleges want to see mainly Junior and Senior, with a couple Soph if your in A.P. or honors. Just tell your mom that you are working really hard, and that sometimes its hard to keep every grade up. Tell her that its extremely important to play sports, because a true scholar does not only study, but has a social and athletic life aka well rounded. It seems your rather smart, so do well on your SAT's, and you could still get into an Ivy League School if thats where you want to go. hope that helps, I'm in the same boat with ya man...

if your in 9th grade you havnt gotten A's your entire life, your just starting school you cunt....

i mean what classes are they?

i failed algebra 2 honors by a fraction of a point and i was the only freshman in the class. i would of got a c if i got a d too because my honors classes are weighted
