When you go to set your 90 degrees onto the rail, just cook it up and give yourself more momentum than you really need, give 'er a little pop and continue your rotation and bring yourself around. Before you know it, you'll be to the end of the rail and stomping your back swaps.

It really just takes commitment, I say its 10 times easier than a front swap.

agreed.

i got back swaps on my third try after learning to commit. fronts are much harder because you have to change direcions. backs feel way mor natural once you get them also dont pop off of your nose then you wont catch. just pop strait up

If you can back surface swap already, then just do the same thing but jump a little bit the first time. Go a bigger angle with the jump every time and you got it

Exactly. And once you learn this, back 4's seem to right after. The rotations are so similar that if you throw a back swap too late, you can usually throw the 4 pretty easily instead. skiing is fun like that
