so im not a student. and am looking to get a pass to the bird. 670 bucks is reallllllllll expensive for my taste. and i dont plan on working up there, or at any mountain. do i just bite the bullet and shell out almost 700 bucks? or is there something im missing, some sort of golden ticket.

thanks dudes.

Even as a student the pass is 6 bills with the tram. I donno, if your looking to ski a hundred+ days (or even half of that), 600 for a seasons pass is not a bad deal considering the mountains charge average 70 for day tickets.

I think if you aren't a student it's real tough to get a good deal. $419 for the canyons sounds real legit though.

I can get you a canyons pass for 399 up until november 17th. For snowbird... you aren't going to find any deals if you're not a student or an employee.

how much is a standard pc pass for a non student not including that fast trax shit

hey im going to snowbird and am under 18 so my pass is like 380 or something, but i have heard from a friend that you can go to the place where they sell them and ask people who are buying passes if they could be your paying adult and get a super cheap pass with them. anyone ever done this?

i think thats what its going to come down to.

i hear that its not really worth it, and they open the tram to chair passes at the end of the season.

im gonna ask my neighbor tommorrow if theres any deals he knows of, hes been at the bird for 20 years now.

ive skiied a good 5 years without and tram pass and its fine, its just a little harder to access some lines as contiuosly. for example gad chutes, the cirque, mount baldy hike, all of those are soooo much easier to lap with a tram pass. there still doable you will just have to take a couple chairs, which is fine for me i dont like standing up on the tram.

chairs pass is legit. i worked there last year and as an employee you basically have a chairs pass because anytime that would really be worth shredding the tram they "red light" employees which means you're shit out of luck and they don't let you on the tram to shorten lines.
but theres a ton of shit you can shred on solely chairs.

find a buddy pass online at craigs list or the park record they usally go for 200 for the canyons if you can find it

solved this problem, how? with a credit card.

still not sure whether to get a tram pass or not. 140 bucks can buy a lot of cool stuff
