How to ask for ski advice.

dont get suspects theyll break in a day. Volkl Walls or Armada ar7s seem like a good choice if your still looking

amen bro fucken hate these kids who go out and pick up a pair of dumonts and all of the high end shit and cant land a 3

Ok, i dont know much about bindings and what notbut im wondering if i should keep my salomon z`10s to thrown on my head cherry kiwis, im 6`0 176lbs .Ride park groomers but enjoy going off trails. I linve in ontario canada, the hills are not that challenging. i would consider myself a in between type ii and type iii skier since

if i were you id keep the z 10's my friend has them and likes them alot there a solid binding and the cherry kiwis are a great all mountain twin tip and perform well in the park. hope that helps

one piece to the question that i don't know has been addressed is what type of skiing the person likes to do. picking the right ski can depend so much on if the person stays in the trees, the big open runs, groomers, park, or a combination of all. its here that turn radius and swing weight become very important.

people also need to keep in mind that as much as people rip on this brand or that brand, for the most part, skis today are pretty well made, barring a few obviously. there is no "best ski out there," but rather there are a selection of skis to give you the option to pick the one that suits your style of riding. a person who likes turny, surfy, and fun will like Line. a light weight agressive skier will be at home on Armada, while heavier aggressive skiers may prefer ON3P.

so remember when u give advice in this forum, remember you are helping someone else find skis, not every recommendation should be what YOU like, but rather a list of a few good options that would make that person happy. at the end of the day we all want to be happy with our skis and have fun.

im debating between the icelantic danollies and the armada halos, please give input or other sugestions im 5''8 170 and ski mostly rails. thanks

I can only speak for the halos. I like them more for each time I ride them. Playful, yet they do hold up on bigger kickers. The only thing I don't like about them is the high speed nollie problem. The nose is low and you will belly flop if you nollie hard @ high speed:p I'm sure you can time nollies better to avvoid this, but:p all in all a super fun ski.

WHAT SKI ARE YOU CURRENTLY ON

I talk to people who honestly have no idea what rocker is and some who haven't even tried a shaped ski.

basing your ski in an online forum is having a thousand people who don't know you tell you what you need.

Go to your closest RESORT mountain, get a private with a PSIA level 3 or examiner who has a reputation for knowing gear (many of them are ski reps) ski with them and let them tell you what ski would be best for your style/ terrain/ aggressive to either compliment or replace the skis you already own. They know the conditions of your mountain, and what people prefer there. Go to your local ski shop, demo that ski, if they don't have it talk to the owner and demo some very similar, fall in love,

FIND YOUR SOUL MATE, you don't always have to go for the popular girl

I'm 6'0" 207 but will probably be 125-220 by next season because of bulking for sports. Im a average slideshow can get thru about anything. I have little park experience but want to do it more. I love skiing pow. I'm looking at some 185 line chronic with some marker schizo Griffons. I'm going for versatility on these. What do you think?

Slideshow should be skier. Fucking auto correct. Also I live in iowa so I mostly ski chestnut, sundown and afton but im thinking about going to slc by next season.

I'm in the deep south of New Zealand so its the start of summer and I'm trying to bridge the gap between now and winter by salivating over a new setup. I'm needing some direction with what to buy. I started to get into park last season and am wanting to get some good park skis that'll last a while cos i'm a poor student.

Any recommendations on whats a good buy? I was looking at a pair of 2015 k2 shreditor 92 but not wanting to make the commitment yet
