How the videos should be sorted in "top rated"

i was thinking the other day that instead of sorting the videos in the video section from past week, past month or past year they should be sorted according to the season they were filmed in. so you would have a winter, spring, summer and early season. each season would consist of 3 months out of the year, video producers will be able to select it in a drop down menu like the jumps, rails, crash etc, video categories.

i'm no coding genius so i don't know how hard it would be to implement this but i think it would be a really cool way to organize the videos and make it feel more like a skiing site and less like reddit.

idk doing it like you described but it would be cool if retrospectively admins could sort stuff by year, so a category would be "top rated 15/16", then "top rated 14/15" and so on

it would probably get pretty messy if it was the main way to sort them but it would be a nice little side feature

actually yeah i like that too.

i'm just sick of trying to find a top rated edit from 2 months ago because it get's buried in everything else.
