HOW THE FUCK IS JACOB INVITED FOR XGAMES SLOPESTYLE?

Jacob is a solid skier, has multiple doubles and stayls on rail and jumps.

He hasn't been lucky in competition. But he definitely deserves his place
 
This list is clearly very preliminary and really incomplete. Is Jen Hudak hurt/not competing? I'd find it very hard to believe that she didn't make the cut in women's pipe
 
I'm gonna go ahead and say its because he was 12th in last years AFP slopestyle rankings. The other invited athletes are the other 11 of the AFP top 12. I think its just possible that might not be a coincidence.
 
This is so sweet! I love watching jacob wester ski slopestyle because i can relate to him on rails. mainly because i dont do shit on rails
 
I'd like to see Sean J, Walker, Goepper, Alexis, Martini, and probably 5 other guys before either Elias or Jacob.

Holy shit there is nothing I like about watching Elias ski.
 
Before everyone freaks out, keep in mind that a second wave of invited athletes will be announced in early January (at which point most of the athletes you would expect to see at X Games will make it in), and that the first wave of invited athletes was based off of last year's AFP rankings (and Jacob was ranked 12th in slopestyle). I love you brobomb but if you can't enjoy how stoked elias always is then you're doing it wrong.

I don't like his style all that much either but he has giant balls and he loves to ski.

Could not disagree with you more.

Having giant balls and loving to ski doesn't make you fun to watch. Him being stoked has nothing to do with it. Everyone should be stoked while they are skiing.

I could argue that I have giant balls, and I also definitely love to ski. But that doesn't make me good. He is literally the last skier I would like to watch.
 
It's not like X games are tomorrow. Changes will be made throughout all of those lists. And to answer your question. Jacob fucking slays that's why.
