Quit while you can, actually use some of your core. When ever I get true my corked on spins it’s because I’m using my core and not just ducking my head

Aight bet good thing I never hit abs lmao

Dip your should more than your head. Try grabbing inside lead safety instead of outside to get a feel for it. Honestly the stomp it tutorial for cork 3s on YouTube improved my years of mediocre cork 3s after a day of working on them with that little change in grabbing

Throw more backflip into it. And if you want to cork 3 u gotta bend down to speed up the corking and get it to happen on just a 3. If you pencil out or lay out blunt your cork wont come around til 7 or 9.

Watch my tutorial ?it might help

I love your tutorials. Just learned sw cork 5 Friday after watching?

As for OP, it looks like you’re trying cork 3. I’ve never landed a cork 3 because I find it always comes around to 5 for me. I’d say a cork 7 or switch cork 5 are the two easiest corks to learn at least in my experience. Cork 5 and especially 3 can be a weird rotation.

“When ever I get my true corked on spins” hilarious joke

The only times it comes close to a cork is when I do use my core and shoulders and not just throw my head at the ground. I’ll do one tonight on fids or the first moonshadow

After an entire weekend of getting bodied trying to cork 5, you just gotta send it. If you can’t cork 7 learn that first. But yeah it’s a trick that you just need to send over and over until you get the feel

Bet ya I’ve been thinking about the sev I just figured cork 3 would be easier to learn

Easiest is cork 7 and sw cork 5. It sounds funny but you can usually cork 7 a smaller jump than you can cork 3/5

Carve hard and dip shoulder its easiest to grab safety to stay together, it could take a few to get a feel for the rotation but you'll be corked.

You may find yourself more naturally underflipping like a lincoln loop which you can then flatten out as you get more comfortable or you may find yourself naturally rotating to cork 5 but thats how you learn them

dont be afraid to fully lincolning your first tries- once you get a feel for being fully off axis you'll understand the right amount to carve and dip your shoulder to get it where you want to be

So this is facts then?

i personally learned a cork 7 before i was able to do cork 5's and cork 3s as well.

c7's are super smooth to get around whereas cork 5s and cork3s - like proper ones - require a bit of ski technique
