I am in the process of buying new gear, and I need to get some boots. Every sales person I talk to gives me a different story as to how a boot should feel. So, I'm more confused than ever. I've tried boots that cut off my circulation, and others that give me too much room to breath. I have a pretty narrow foot. A bit too narrow for a salomon x-wave, but a little on the wide side for an upscale lange (although I can make it work). My shoe size is a 10 to 10 1/2. Oh, also, I found some mid-level lange's that are OK (vec-s 60), and the price is really what appeals to me, they are comfy and fit my foot decently it is just that the boot does not lean forward enough for my taste. (probably because it isn't designed for as advanced of a skiing level as I will be doing). Is it worth saving $300 and going for the cheaper boot that fits pretty well? or going all out price wise? Any input on how a boot should fit, or what kind of boot I should get would be great (price is an issue).
