How often u ski?

Just wondering....i just wanna know what most of u guys ski. not like, days per year, but more like days per week, and why u get to ski or are held to ski that amount of days (school, work, college, etc...) I dunno why but i'm just curious to know. A lot of the real good kids in here must ski a ton... I'll tell u, i ski like once a week, a lil less then half the time i ski twice a week, (high schooler) and on school vacations i ski most of the days in the vacations, living about an hour 45 - 2 hrs away from the hill. How bout u guys?

i ski 7 days a week, when they are open

i had 75 days there, of there about 95 days this season. i had 10 days of other places.

that's 85 days on snow. at least

Well, last year I skied alot, but not having a car, a lot of work and just plain bad luck have been keeping me from the hill alot this year. I hate it.

i live 10 mins from a resort(a piece of #$%^) but still its a ski resort. i get out 4 times a week and i dont have a car, you want to know my secret? get your parents workin at the resort part-time like my dad he teaches there so whenever he goes i go

6-7 days a week. the backside of one of the mountains at my place goes right into town so i can just ski home.

jesus...how do all u guys get to ski so much? i'm in highschool and i only get 2 days off per week! How are you guys skiing like, every day of the year??? u guys must be insanely good...

I ski everyday now, working as a liftie has it's perks for sure. The snow here in Colorado is good now too, so the park is SOFT!

i get about 2-4 and i live a hour and half from the nearest mountain i wish i could ski everyday

I get about 70 - 80 days but i try to ski all over the country. West coast where the snow is good and canada.

 
The fucking closest place to me is 2.5 hours away and it sucks ass. I am 15 so i have no license or car, my parents work all the time, and i have a job on saturdays because i really need the money. i have a friend with a license, but he never wants to go. so I am lucky if I go every 3 weeks. usually i go every 4 weeks. there's like a 40 foot hill like 2 miles from me though and i built a jump there, but now it got warm out, it has all melted. Then once a year my family and i actually go somewhere nice for 4 days. it sucks ass, and next time you guys think you can't go skiing enough, think of me.

a lot... maybe 5-7 days per week... pretty much whenever i want. college is great... schedule your classes around the mountain and don't be afraid to use the 5 year plan... i think im on the 6. as for all you high schoolers... i was there too once... just make the hill your priority... 95 absences my senior year did the trick (still do the work so you dont find yourself keepin it real in a 2nd senior year) also if you have the oppurtunity look into a ski academy... theyre a great time a good oppurtunity and you get a lot of hill time.

 
u are all lucky!!i live in england and get to ski a max of 2 weeks a year! man it suks...just have to ride the mountain bike and wait 11 months till i get to ski again.

 
I used to ski mot because my folks would go up more. this year I have skied about once every 2 weeks. next year I'm gonna go up every weekend because I will have a car.

im in high school so i go every weekend for like 9 or 10 hours. and pretty much every day off, and every day in the breaks. when i get a car i'm goin after school all the time.

i go about 3 times a week. I'll go after school about once a week and on the weekend i'll go friday and saturday. Some weekends I'll go to a place with more than 200 feet of vertical.

My girlfriend told me to shove my skis up my ass
 
what's the best way to have ur college classes arranged to get hte most skiing if ur within like and hour and a half from a resort? is it best to do like, half a week of a lot of classes or spread it out and go skiing part days all week? what's easiest for the work load? (only sophmore in high school but i'm still curious for some weird reason)

 
what i do is take all my classes on monday tuesday and wednesday, that way i get a 4 day weekend to do as i please. which makes for lots of skiing. my mondays and wednesdays are busy with 2 classes in the day, one night class (night classes are longer, so you only have to go once a week.) but tuesdays i only have one night class. and by wednesday night, i'm free, which is sweet. totally worth it. and that's a full 15 credit load too.
