How often do u get newskis

recently its been every year, btu thats because of mishaps such as skis getting stolen and used skis getting completely destroyednormally id say 2-3 years though considering luck is good

ride them till they are dead, then get new ones, rode my 06 scrach pros till before xmas, only swaped because they had like a foot of edge missing (not in one place) and core shots all over it

Too often.

And now it appears I am harsher on my skis so it looks like it will still be too often :/

So basically I get a new pair of skis every year fuuuuu.

Usually twice a season...skiing 8hours a day 6 days a week on pretty much all rails=lots of broken skis.

I'm hoping my Filthy Rich's make it the whole season...so far they're looking good.

Old scratches were bombproof.

It all depends. My amplids lasted less than a season, my invaders are on their 3rd season, and just got anthems in case my invaders ever decide to quit. My seasons are usually 60-90 day seasons 4-10 hours mostly on rails.

When I need them. I got 4 years out of my troublemakers before I had to retire them, I'm on my second season on my Caylors (with a few more to come) and my first on my recoils

Like once a year? Normally only if I need them but I always get suckered by end-of-season sales and end up buying something I demo'd for a couple of runs and really liked, but didn't actually need.

Hence why I have Punx and Ace of Spades... oops.

i rode 08 invaders until this year, then i bought some afterbangs for temporary skis until i got enough money to buy some jibs which probably be this weekend!

we we we so excited!

Jesus, how do you manage that? I'm lucky if I can get 4 days a week, and I'm just a high school student working 8 hours a week...

Yeah, like Balto said, I'm the part of the Park Crew at a small mountain...it's pretty much my job to ski, kinda a perk for getting to the mountain 3 hours before it opens...haha.

been skiing on my skis for a year now ( my first pair). theyre pretty battered cause i ski dryslope, but i want them to last to at least the end of the season until sales start.

its always around the 1.5 year mark that my skis start to really become tough to ride and I end up just holding off until the next season. So 2 years usually for me.

think how much money you guys blow! you just trash fine skis, and get new ones when the old ones are still perfectly fine! well im like 4-5 years if they dont break

how do you like your caylors? im looking in to new skiis....

Im on my 2nd year of my bacons with 50+ rides on them and there still awesome. top sheet is chipping.

You probably don't log that many days a season then... Or if you do, you don't spend much time in the park/on rails... I mean, I only get about 30-40 days a season max, with maybe 30% rails 70% jumps, and I still need new skis once every 2 seasons or so... I mean, obviously I can still use them, but they get to the point where they're starting to delam, are chipped to hell, ridiculous scratches in the bases, etc.
