So I'm getting a new jacket, I was going to get the saga "fatigue jacket" but noticed that the "On Deck" had better insulation and price, but was only critically sealed. My question is how does this affect the performance?
Fully taped is when all of the seams are taped while critically is only some of them. As a result, water can get into your pockets and stuff easier on critically taped. If it rains or snows alot where you live you should probably get the fatigue, unless you have another jacket for the wet days
Ah, alright so critical is not good for serious pow or very wet slushy days then, and I tend to keep important shit that shouldn't get wet like ipods, wallets, phones so I'll opt for the full taper solution and layer.
unless youre planning to ski in the wettest of northeast/northwest storms our outerwear pockets will keep your items safe.
we build our outerwear ready to withstand every condition our customers have put it through thus far. if you buy one of those jackets and something in your pocket gets ruined because it got wet send it back it us. our shit is more water tight than a ducks ass
