I bought full tilt booters..they fit really well except the length.. they are about half size too small, i have worn them for about 4 hours..will they pack out..or stay too small?

how do they feel when your knees are flexed forward in an aggressive skiing position? as long as they arent still pressing against the front they should be just fine.

if they are a half size to small why dont you get a half size bigger? go return them. and why didnt you figure this out at the store? every liner packs out differently though. it depends.

i bought them at a swap for really cheap..they are new..and that was the only size they had.

i figured i would pick them up and if they ended up working for me i would wear them..and if they didnt i would sell them on here for what i payed..

Exactly. have you done a shell fit? Theres also the fact that they could just straight up be the wrong boot for your foot.

Depending on the boot you can take the liner out... and have the toe box of the shell "milled" or cut out a bit to fit your toes. If you have a dremel you could try yourself. Just dremel out a small amout of pastic at a time. Put the liner back in and try them on. Repeat untill your toes arent jammed in there. Some people have irregular feet, like super wide or have a big knobber on your toe or something. If thats the case you would take them to a bootfitter and get them milled out to fit.

So, that didnt asnwer your question at all.. The liner will pack out some. I would say try to ride them a day or two, if it jacks your toes up real bad and isnt getting better after a few days I would take them to a bootfitter.

Have you heat molded the meat-moldable liner yet? Im assuming these have intuition liners because they are full tilts. The heat-mold makes a huge difference, and then they pack out a little more from there.

Get them fitted. Don't mill out until you know you really have to, because odds are, they will break in. Breaking in ski boots takes a few days of aggressive skiing, with the movements and forces of skiing acting on the boot. Four hours shouldn't concern you. If they fit while you flex forward, then they'll more than likely fit you just dandy. Also... doesn't full tilt not make boots in half sizes? or am I just pulling shit out of my ass?

Sounds right to me, and from my experience boots pack out a lot. I thought mine were going to be too small, now there way too big

I ski in a set of intuition liners, when you take them to get fitted make sure that the place sells fulltilt, dalbello, intuitions, or 32 boots, There are special heaters for intuition liners that get hotter than your average salomon boot heater. You also need some certain fit aids if you are going to try and make this boot bigger. If you use a neoprene and a rubber toecap over your toes then pull a sock on it will push the end of the intuition liner our about 2-3mm which should be more than enough room for your toes and your heel should get locked down by this as well. If not look into some c-pads to try and lock down your boot a little better. IF you live in CO on the front range you can stop by my shop and Ill fit them for you, if you don't just gotta do some research and find a good boot fitter.

alright, few things off

Buying boots for supper cheap at a swap is fine, as long as you realize they might not work perfect. But it sounds like these have a decent chance at working for you.

First off, go to a place that knows how to cook an intuition liner correctly, and get yours molded. There are a lot of places that over cook them, don't mold them right, and do other shit wrong that you don't want to happen. So do some research into it before hand, there is a thread on tgr with a list of good boot fitters. When your looking through and you find one with good reviews but it charges $50 more to mold them then the others, pay the extra $50, its worth it. A fucked up mold is gonna cause you problems.

Second. Its an intuition liner, they pack out, a lot, especially after the first molding. Typically they will pack out more then your standard stock liner.

my guess is that the length is fine. I have no idea about heel pocket, fore foot, instep or calf though.
