Hey I have a trip to heavenly planned the week of the 3rd in January. How much snow do they need to start opening up all of the terrain? Totals for this storm were supposed to be around 18-30...I'm guessing that won't be enough. Also, how much do you think they'll have open in 3 weeks?

We expect to open California with Gunbarrel Express, the Tram, Patsy’s chair, Powderbowl Express and Canyon Express. Please note that The Face WILL NOT be open. Gunbarrel and the Tram are transportation lifts ONLY. Also, we’re working hard to get Skyline open, but that’s still up in the air. If we open Cali without Skyline, that means you can ski/ride from NV to CA, but not CA to NV. You’ll have to grab a shuttle at the Cal Lodge.
On Thursday, we’ll have full Ski and Snowboard School operations at of both the Gondola and the California Lodge. This includes the DMZ, the Enchanted Forest, Day Care and possibly First Ride.
