How much of an influece do pros have on what skis, boots and clothing you buy?

when I was 12 I bought lines because the true twin-tip design was real sweet looking at the time. Then I bought Public Enemies when I was 13 because Peps part in 1242 made me want to ski like him so I had to have the same skis...then I didn't like the PE's so I bought Trouble Makers when I was 14 and blew them ther fuck up, but they skied so perfectly I had to have another pair, so I got new ones and blew them up too, and then another pair blew up, and that accounted for three new pairs of skis in a season because they kept breaking, but I was in love with the way they rode. I guess you could say dynastar produced a product that was similar to crack for me.
 
not too much because i ride anthems so... but i probably wouldnt have bought dalbellos if tanner didnt ride them. However, i dont match any pro in style at all.
 
u dont remember who colby west was!!! dude his accents from that movie seem to be a prty remembrable thing for me
