How much more will I grow?

Heading into the off-season I now, I can look ahead to next years gear. The new stuff I need will include skis and boots so I've got a few questions. Since I'll be 15, I'm wondering how much more I can grow. I'm currently 5,9 and weigh just over 140 pounds. I figure that I can only grow upto 2-3 inches more but weight-wise, I'll probably grow a lot more.

My dilemna is whether or not to buy *really* nice equipment. I figure that once I hit an age where I won't be growing anymore, I could buy some really nice stuff that would last me for a long time. And that's exactly the plan I intend to follow.

Although I could survive on my current skis for another year, the big problem is my boots. Should I go out and buy some nice boots if my current footsize is 9 1/2 to 10? How much more could I grow?

I know that *most* of you aren't doctors (probably none actually :) but I know that you can relate to your own experiences.

Thanx for everything!

im 16, my feet stopped growing in the 8th grade, though i have kept growing heightwise, and have now started losing weight after getting really fat

ya seriously, everyones different, so you'll never get a good answer on here. Girls are supposed to stop growing around 15, but i grew another inch when i was almost 17.

ya dude everyones different. I mean if u had a big growth spurt resently and grew a bunch then yer probly close to done...

yay skiing

my life seems to have been one giant growth spurt...every year, i grow like 4 inches and this year seems to be no different.

I've been askin around and alot of people have said that i could go for a pair of *nice* boots, just buy them a little big and stuff the toe or get a custom liner made.

What da ya think about that?

im 15 and 6 feet and when i broke my ankle 3 weeks ago, i went to two doctors to get differnet opinions on surgery....but anyways...both said my growth plates look like a 13 year olds. i should be 6 4 or so. just buy new skis each year

even if you stopped growing, skis aren't likely to last you more than a season if you ski often. so, just buy whatever you like.

yea, i'm just gonna get a pair of 176s or 178s. they'll probably last me for a while anyways.

+, if i'm doin rails and shit, i'll probably have to buy new skis anyways.
