How much money will you spend on skiing this year

^and thats coming out of my own pocket, the name of this thread should be "how much money will your parents spend on your spoiled rich ass"

Oh god, alot less than last season:

$50- Leg Bag

$70- Ladies Pants

$70- Giro Encore

$140- white jacket

$300- Season Pass

$250- FKS 120's

830$ Total.

My parents buy me my season pass(gets me out of the house) every season. I buy everything else. well, they supply gas and a car.

jacket-200

skis-450(bought)

bindings-250

pass-(family)

helmet-90

boots-200

total-1190+food expenses for me and my friends

Where are all these places where season passes are sub $400, that's insane.

Transatlantic flight, 6 months rent, insurance just to start, about £2000. then skis, boots and outerwear £500.

So £2500 or about $5000 and that's if i get a job that gives me my season pass, add another $1600 if not...

So, no bindings or poles? That's way cool.. must be the British style :P haha jokes.

Skis, Boots & Outerwear, $1000? Well, if you want performance boots & skis, then you're gonna end up spending a lot more than that... I assume you're coming over to instruct??

as of May 07 when my season ended:

about $300 for jacket and pant

$300 for BT's and bindings

$50 on poles (stupid ass poles)

estimating $350 for passes

about a grand

shit i picked the wrong sport, it's burning holes in my wallet!

its called a job....i have some nasty ski stuff for next year but its all my own money...and ive gotten insane deals, like more than 50% for everything ive bought so far

cost me a BOMB!

wayyy to much

Bacons:550

Px14 ti's:110

Jacket+Pants:410

Season passes:375+550=925

for a grand total of:$1,995

so i think i might have to only get 1 pass but its a tough decision, and before anybody says anything this is all my own money, thats what 58+ hour work weeks gets you

holy shit expensive pass....all the ski areas around me the passes are only like 300-350 not 1600...and whiteface isnt that small of a mountain

I got hooked up at CFS

Skis and bindings $325

Siver Pants $80

Siver Jacket $95

Grenade Gloves $35

Bern Baker Helmet $45

Still waiting on Ski pass but total

all that for $580

fucking SWEET!!

I'll probly get more gloves this year

im livin the ski bum dream this winter, livin off ramen and pbr skiin everyday workin at a resort. who needs new gear, get it all al marshalls

I live in British Columbia. If I was 18 and had money, the first thing I'd buy is a helicopter and a pilot. The amount of skiing you can do is unbelievable.

Whistler, Mt. Washington, Apex, Big White, Silver Star, Sun Peaks, Panorama, Kicking Horse, Fernie. When you're done skiing big-mountain and pow, there's countless amount of park too (although maybe not that good), Blackcomb, Grouse (SUCKS, but changing this year), Mt Seymour, Manning Park, etc...

your so damn lucky ive got 2 mountains near me and 1 is worthless...the other is decent but no pow. and then i have to 3 hours to get to anywhere else....but im going to colorado next winter WOOT WOOT!!!!

yea the skis on the left wall are last years models/protoypes. they made few skis last year.

anyone out west should go over to tgr and search "praxis". there are many helpful threads.

1. Parents bought my ski pass for 250.

2. I bought my salomon foil boots for 200.

3. Payed for half my ski cost, trouble makers for 250.

4. Parents bought bindings, jibs for 80.

Buying gloves for 30.

Then other cash for ski trips, hopefully Ill have time in the summer to make some money towards that, but Im sure my parents will help me out some there.

Your lucky your parents are cool with you skiing, I got the, we're paying for your school so we won't pay anything for you to ski, speech
