some people see me, riding without poles and wearing jeans. and they say "Emmett, you are nothing but a comformist lame-o who wears the same kind of clothes as the Surface riders."

but let me tell you...its because im poor.

i have no money, so i broke my poles so i was like fuck it not using any. then i ripped my snow pants and i was like fuck it not wearing any.

all i gotta pay for is my season pass, and at a lean 175, i should have the money to pay for it in a matter of days. (fat girls pay well)

i dont want to know...

so i will not take the time to add it up because then i will divide it and see how many hours i need to work at burger king to pay all the shit off. if i had to guess... 350 for pass + 1600ish for camera + 80ish for pants + 200ish for comps and shit = way to much time at burger king flipping burgers.

If you don't mind, how much are the expenses for a pro skier during the season with all of the traveling that you guys do?

and if i get a new suit it wont be more then 300$

i dont need to look good to feel good :)

why on earth do u need 4 pairs of gloves

Also, you dont need to spend, and shouldnt spend, $125 on goggles.

ive saved a lot of money up this summer so i wanna get some new skis and bindings (prolly like 700), a new suit (prolly like 450), and a seasons pass, gas money to go to alberta and wherever for comps, so prolly like 3000?

Season Pass: $500 and $300

so for just that it is $1350

so say $2000

now add another $500-$750 for travel

skis - 400

boots - 200

clothes -- 225

pass -- 400

every week gotta pay for gas and mt. food - 400

trips -800 to 2000 depending on if i can spend may in hood

total = 2500-3500 probably

New outerwear - 300-500

Pass - 380

Lift tickets at other resorts - 300+

Traveling + competition entry - 2,000
