ok, so Harvey is keeping saying that if each member donate 10$, the site will survive for a year.But we all know that there is a lot of unactive members. So, id like to know, how much is the 10$ by member so it can stay there for a year...

That way, we have an objective. We will really know how many money we need, and if its doable.if its like 10000$, and we know we wont get it, then its not even worth it..but if its something logical, im really willing to donate..

i mean..there is like 15 000 members..so if there is like 8 000 of those that are active, we all know that its not every body active that will actually donate. let say out of those 8000, if 3500 donate...how much should each of them donate...see where i want to come with that?

We need about $4,000 canadian to run the site for a year... unless of course traffic keeps growing like it is, in which case we'll need a third server, so that'll be about $5,000-$6,000...

But that's JUST for the server! We also wish to put on contests, events, comps, etc... we're devising a plan to make that happen, but in the mean time, we need some cash.

Lots of people have donated and we appreciate more than you know.

ok...a thing that would be cool, is that instead of buying the stickers, you have to donate, let say 15$, and you get 5stickers. And that would be the ONLY way to have the stickers...what do you think??you dont purchase the stickers, its just a way to thank those that donate...

1$ would in fact not be enough, in the sens that its ridiculous to send 1$ via the mail..you cant send 1 canadian $$$...whatever...it would more discourage some people....

Um yeah I donated a while ago, people with over 1000 posts are definately obligated to donate in my opinion. I sent like $50 us or something like that. No weed for like a week, deal with it you lazy pieces of shit and donate some money.

A membership fee would be good for the site, or, not even a membership fee. Have like a guest page and then a members page, the members page would have more features, this idea wouldnt require people to pay, but would encourage them to.

 
i LOVE the idea of $1-$5 bucks a year to be a member. i think it's foolproof, just think about it.
