How much is too much for ski poles, what ski poles are the best? I can get the lime green and orange 2008 scott poles for 75$, is that worth it? or should I save 50$ and buy any ol pole.
get the 09 oakley osama pro poles. they are fucking sweet. they have little rocket boosters in them to help you spin....and they are only $200. best purchase i ever made.

yeh man sounds real cool, i just got the 09 osamas 1297cm w. the optinal 7th rocket launcher to match your poles. Please sell me your poles man! Please!
new scotts = sickness. i never break poles so i go for expensive ones that look cool. ive had same pair of joysticks for 2 years and theres only a little tiny dent in 1 of them thats not even noticable
K2 1980 edition from local Salvation Army 2 dolla and fitty cent. Work just as good as 75 dollar joystick poles. Im not dissing Joystick though, i Anthony Borronowski is brillant, i just couldnt get myself to buy poles over 10 dollars unless i skied every day. Which im no more then 5 percent of this site does.
childrens poles are mass cheap. but you gotta be willing to buy more cuz they snap like crazy. just go with rental poles. spray paint them and cover them with mass stickers
get some good composite poles. i have a pair of goodes that can flex a ton without snapping or staying bent lightweight and compact too. They were $60 but got them for $30 in the summer so right now you should be able to get that kind of deal
i have some scotts that i got for free from my friend because they were just chillin in her basement.
im guessing they are from the 80s. super neon lime green, havent bent or had any trouble with them at all. so im assuming that scott poles are pretty fuckin solid.
go to your home mountain. walk into the rental shop, look for all their poles. find the right size for you, take them, and leave. its simple. they tend to break easily though so just take like 2 or 3 more pairs of poles with you before you leave, even if the workers are watching you they dont care, and the poles are actually really light too i was impressed
ive actually had quite a few people comment on my joystick spicollis. most of the liftys walk around with rental poles and they always try and trade me...im too smart for that shit
