so i just started smoking weed and until now i have been just mooching off my friends. Now theyve told me i need to start contributing to. So i really have no idea how much it costs and how much you get so if you guys can help me out i thank you.
 
There are alot of different variables in play; how good the weed is, how much you are buying, and where you live
 
why don't you ask your friends, instead of posting on here and asking a bunch of people from all over the world where the cost of weed varies greatly?

around me for a slice of mids its 20-25, beasters is 45, and anything good is 50+

do yourself a favor right now, buy a digi scale.
 
that's retarded to buy a scale. just plain stupid. so that way when you get caught you get slapped with a drug trafficking charge as well? just use whoevers you buy it off of. and yeah dude that was a retarded question. ask your friends.
 
dude beasters are the shitty stuff and mids is the stuff in between good and bad.

beasters is usually brick weed.

and dont buy a scale unless you plan on dealing, its just extra evidence you dont need

These are averages, for good-decent weed.

Dime ~ 1 gram, $10

Dub ~ 1.7g, $20, 2g, $25

Eighth ~ 4g, $40

You can figure the rest out, it's fairly linear until you get into ounces, but I doubt you'll be buying that much if you're just starting out.

Obviously people on here will say they get better deals, and they probably do, but I'd say this is pretty accurate overall.
 
no man, mids is weed thats been fertilized. hence the seeds. its much easier to grow cause you don't have to sex the plants. also has reduced potency

beasters is just mass-grown weed intended to maximize profit.
 
i guess. everyone around here keeps scales in their cars and i just want to fucking shoot them for being so stupid. if you left it at home i guess it'd be alright, i still wouldn't buy one unless you buy a lot or wanna deal. i sold mine.

and yeah around here for middies averages are about:

dime-$10

eighth-$30-40

quarter-$60-70

and i doubt you'll be buying much more than that if you're just starting out. but it depends on what you're buying man, it can be a lot different prices...like i said ask your friends.
 
I dont know if you are being sarcastic but dub is two grams and generally 20 bucks and an eighth is 3.5 usually for 30 bucks dont give advice if you dont know what your talking about $'s change but weight doesnt
 
You realized you have very cheap prices right? Usually id pay 50 bucks for 3.5g and 25 for 1.75g and 15 for 1g, that was in montana, and its similar in utah and other states around here. Washington is so close to BC that prices are much cheaper.

eighth 3.5 gs~$25-30 depending on if you go for kush or not (its worth it)

quarter 7-8gs~ $45-55 depending on quality

half 14 gs~ $100-110

ounce~ $200-210

 
I said price changed but in syrcuse new york you buy an eighth of bc beasters (alright nug) or a quarter (7 grams) for fifty

if that's what you are paying over in mill bay at school you're getting jipped. An eighth of good shit on the island should run you no more that 25 bucks.

regular prices (west coast generally, PNW, places where weed is always around)

1.7 - $20

3.5 - $40

7 - $80

usual east coast price (from what i hear), also prices for good shit out west:

1.7 - 25

3.5 - 50

7 - 100

weights dont change, prices do. ask your friends if your unsure because prices are very different everywhere you go and everyone on here will have different prices.

also, when you start buying for yourself more often you'll see that its all about who you know and how well you know them. one guy might have a small sack of shitty green for more than the other guy who might have a fat sack of stank for the regular price. all in all it'll vary, you'll see.
 
my best friend is a dealer and usually sells an eighth for 25... says hell take 5 bucks off that for me, but i havent gotten taken him up on the offer yet. people who have dealt with him before say its pretty good stuff and 25 is actually cheap for the quality. cant wait.

It varies between your dealer, the quality, the quantity, and the state/city etc. Just pay what your friends are paying or ask them. If they are your friends they will tell you honestly what to pay.
 
I cant help but laugh at this whole thread. Some people are so stupid. mtbakerteacher- your an idiot, you get ripped off often i assume. Some people know what theyre talking about but honestly if you dont know what your talking about dont post. Its a really easy rule to live by. Dont go throwing numbers out there that make no sense. This is why i love NS threads like this
 
im east coast, so i dont know what kind of weed caylor is talking about, but thats weird that his prices for east coast is double the price of what my friend is...
 
make sure you take the weight of the bag into consideration when they're showing you the goods...figure about 1g for a standard plastic baggie and 2.5(ish) for a ziplock...don't let someone short you cause they're putting bag weight in to the total...
 
i don't know how you are confused. let me spell it out for you...when you weigh an eighth in a baggie it is obviously going to weigh more than if you just toss just the dank on the digi without the bag. if someone tries to sell you an eighth weighing 3.5 grams with the bag, you are getting shorted. some bags weigh more than others...aka a ziplock bag weighs more than sandwich baggie. based on his question i would assume that he is a young kid. he's probably buying off of someone close to his own age. i would also assume that his dealer is probably going to be using a postal scale and will most likely weigh it out in a bag.

now i know this isn't a huge discovery...it is pretty common knowledge among experienced smokers. however, being that he is obviously a rookie he might not be taking these things into consideration.
 
im sorry but if your pissed because you got shorted the weight of the baggie then theres a problem. it wouldnt even be a quarter of a bowl pack.
