Just wanna get a 2" body lift (no suspension) put on my Dakota to fit bigger tires. I know the kit is about $250, how much should it be to have installed? Thanks

call a shop and ask man... ask what it would take to install the kit, what parts have to be disconnected, replaced, etc, and how much they charge per hour for labor.

if i were you i wouldn't do that man. body lifts suck balls, if you're gonna do it get suspension. body lifts fuck you truck so bad, make it ride 100x worse they are just horrible. got a 6" suspension lift and it's amazing, maybe look into it....

my friend's mom says that men who raise their trucks compensate for having a small penis. hahaha

lifts are stupid and body lifts can be really shitty for your car...get a suspension lift if you have to get one at all, if that works for your tires...

well, it's not bad for your car if the kit is made properly. Make sure you don't need to buy a steering extension too especially.

I recently saw an extremely lifted Dodge Ram that had a license plate holder that read: "Yes, I have a small penis." I really wish I would have taken a picture.

On a serious note, some body kits were designed to ensure the same ride with the kit on. The suspension and all of that should work the same. If you're just adding the kit to increase your tire size, you should be just fine. Suspension kits are a lot more to invest in, and if you're not talking about making some trail rig, don't bother.

So like this, except Dodge?

For the sake of your dignity, don't lift your truck (unless you want to become familiar with the encompassments of being a redneck). Please don't exemplify the stereotype.

wtf.. so a body lift is like an el cheapo option to try and make your truck look like it was mad suspension? seems like that would be about as good as cutting the springs to make your car look like its been lowered. needless to say, cars with cut springs handle like a sack of sand, while cars with s proper suspension kit handle well. I guess the same probably applies to trucks

I just picked that picture for the sweet licence plate cover. I know there's a ton of people with much more over-inflated egos.

dude, dont post stuff unless your gunna help someone, its annoying, who cares if he only has that many posts, its not a contest

A body lift is easy if you dont have bolts that arent rusted or stripped. Takes two people at a minimum as well as a jack and decent jack stnds
